This site is dedicated to the memory of Tee Thơ Tran, who passed away after a valiant battle with COVID. The loss of such a warm, genuine and spirited person is mourned by family and friends around the world. We will continue to update this site with details on memorial services, photos, videos and other memories.
Tee’s Memorial Bench Commemoration
On March 31, 2023 we held a Commemoration for Tee’s Memorial Bench, which was a lovely event with quite an impressive turnout.
It was such an amazing experience to celebrate Tee's life and lasting impact on the Los Altos community and beyond!
Tee had always been moved by the idea of memorial benches. As a meaningful way to honor her, we worked with the City of Los Altos to have one installed in front of FYN Salon & Spa, the longstanding and beloved local establishment that she had founded with her husband Charles.
We are so appreciative to everyone who made it out, and also wanted to send our thanks to those who couldn't attend but sent us loving messages and best wishes for the Commemoration.

Memorial Services and Interment of Ashes
Our family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended any of the Memorial Services held in honor of Tee in Vietnam or in California in the months following her passing.
Tee’s ashes were laid to rest at Tuệ Quang temple in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Memorial Service and 49-Day Ceremony were filmed and can be viewed here.

We would like to share a song, performed by Avi Vinocur, based on a love poem Charles had written for Tee in 2002.
Shortly after Tee’s passing, Charles wanted to turn the poem into a song that would be dedicated to her. In the months following the 49-day ceremony, Charles became acquainted with Avi, who is an extended member of the family through Tim Saputo, the husband of Charles’ daughter Jacky. They shared some lasting memories during a time of healing for Charles.
Avi is not only an accomplished musician, songwriter and producer, but a kind, genuine and caring person who our family knew could be entrusted with such a meaningful undertaking.

We will print personal messages and prayers to be kept with Tee’s ashes in the temple tower. We welcome your thoughts and messages.
